Maa Cushion Hemp

Maa takes its name from the Mạ, one of Vietnam’s ethnic peoples. It’s a cushion cover in raw hemp — a way of bringing the weave of the highlands into the house.

The shell is whole hemp, naturally grown and handwoven by H’Mong artisans. There’s no chemical residue, because the plant grows without needing any. The cloth starts a little coarse and softens with every wash.

No two are quite alike — the mark of a thing made by hand. Wash only when needed, in cold water with a gentle detergent.
